Michael Robert Vliek is a professional with a background in information technology, landscaping, shipping, and crating. He was born in Indiana and grew up in Georgia, where he developed a strong work ethic and a passion for learning. After completing high school, Michael attended North Metro Technical College and nurtured his love for technology. His educational journey also included studies at Kennesaw State University, which laid the foundation for a successful career.
Michael’s professional journey began in the IT industry, where he worked for about ten years. His first significant role was at SST Computing Inc. as a Technical Support Specialist from 2005 to 2012. In this role, Michael was responsible for installing and supporting various clients’ analog, digital, and VOIP phone systems. His expertise in these areas quickly became evident as he demonstrated his desktop and software installation proficiency. Michael’s skills were not just technical; he was also known for his excellent customer service, ensuring his clients were always satisfied with his work.
After proving his capabilities at SST Computing Inc., Michael joined Citrix Systems as an Escalation Support Representative in 2013. Here, he provided advanced technical support, specializing in Citrix software. Michael’s role involved resolving complex customer issues and mentoring tier 1 and 2 representatives in troubleshooting and escalations.
